On December 20, 2025, Phuoc An Port (PAP) successfully received 03 Ship-to-Shore (STS) cranes and 02 Rubber Tyred Gantry (RTG) cranes, manufactured and transported from Mitsui E&S (MES), Oita Factory – Japan. These are state-of-the-art container handling equipment, designed and built to meet the highest standards of the global port industry.
Huynh Thy is honored to serve as a reliable bridge between the equipment supplier and the customer in Vietnam, while also participating in the implementation of technical scopes related to equipment receiving, discharging, and commissioning for this significant milestone event.

The Discharging – Unlashing – Commissioning process was carried out in strict compliance with safety and performance standards, through close coordination between Huynh Thy’s technical team and expert engineers from Japan. This phase focused on comprehensive inspection and fine-tuning of mechanical, electrical, and control systems, ensuring the equipment is fully prepared for operational deployment at a modern container terminal.

This event represents an important step in the ongoing development of PAP’s logistics infrastructure, contributing to enhanced competitiveness on the international port map. Notably, the crane QC13 in the equipment batch marks the 500th STS crane manufactured by Mitsui E&S, a milestone of historical significance for one of Japan’s leading port equipment manufacturers.
