Project 06 RTG Cranes – MES (Nam Dinh Vu Port – Hai Phong)

On December 18, 2017 at Nam Dinh Vu Port – Hai Phong, Huynh Thy – MES handed over 06 frame cranes RTG RT4023-8I-5EC to Gemadept Group. RT4023-8I-5EC with 40/50 tons lifting capacity, 5 + 1 stacking height, 6 container cargo width, 100% new quality imported complete unit from MES – Japan.

Mitsui Engineering & Shipbuilding (MES) is a leading crane manufacturer and supplier in the world. MES has nearly 100 years of experience manufacturing and supplying cranes to ports around the globe, with a total of 1,400 cranes. Main products of MES include QC (STS) Paceco Portainer and Paceco Rubber Tired Gantry Crane (RTG), Paceco Transtainer.

Nam Dinh Vu Port is the next important project of Gemadept Group in Hai Phong, with a total investment of 300 million USD, a system of 07 berths, a total length of 1.5 km, total area of a cargo yard of 65 hectares, output through 1.5 million TEUs a year. Phase 1 went into operation in January 2018 with an expected output of 600,000 TEUs a year.
